Pontoon Boat - King Neptune Policies

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

You acknowledge the damage deposit for motorized equipment.
Tritoons and Pontoons have a $500 damage deposit
non mechanical rentables have a $200 damage deposit.
The damage deposit is due at check in and can either be done as a hold on a card or
cash. Damage deposit is released once the motorized equipment is returned and final
inspection shows no damage.

RESERVATION DETAILS
You agree that you cannot rent any boat unless you are 21 years old or older.
You verify that you have a valid United States drivers license and will have it with you for
your reservation. You agree to allowing us to make a copy of your license.
If your reservation results in a cancellation due to not providing a damage deposit there
will not be a refund. 
You confirm that you or anyone else in your party/group did not rent more than 3 pieces
of motorized equipment during the time of your reservation. You also acknowledge and
agree to that if more than 3 pieces of motorized equipment was rented during your
reservation time you will forfeit your deposit for those additional items.
You agree to our liability policy. This liability policy applies even if individuals that are in
your group create their own reservation under a different name on a separate
reservation. This will result in a cancellation of equipment that puts your group over the
3 max per our liability policy. As stated above: no refund on those additional items that
are being cancelled due to breaking our liability policy. 
You agree that we strive to provide the specific boat reserved. However, due to
mechanical or other issues, that cannot be guaranteed. If the reserved boat is removed
from service, you may be moved to a comparable boat. If a comparable boat is
available, we are not required to notify you in advance. If a comparable boat is not
available you will be given the option to cancel, move, or otherwise change the
reservation.

PREPAREDNESS
You agree to watch the video on boating safety and take a 7 question safety test upon
check in.
You agree that neither you nor anyone in your party will be impaired by alcohol or drugs
in any way and will keep drinking alcohol to a minimum.

You agree to have a designated driver that will not consume alcohol. 
You agree all required safety equipment will be provided by Indian Creed Dock. This
includes life preservers, throw cushions, and fire extinguishers.
Anyone under the age of 13 must wear a USCG approved flotation vest AT ALL TIMES.

PET POLICY FOR DOGS
You agree that your dog must be a non-shedding breed and under 20 lbs. If it is a
service animal you are required to present your dogs registration card verifying status.
Dogs in excess of 20 pounds will not be permitted on any equipment.
You agree any evidence of dog found upon final inspection will incur a $50 cleaning fee
to remove the dog hair.

FOOD
You agree to no grilling or cooking of any kind on our crafts. Any food or drink items
must be removed before final inspection. You agree to a $50 cleanup fee if any food or
drink is detected.

GAS
You agree the cost of your fuel usage is above and beyond the rental cost and will b
determined upon final inspection and charge at checkout. If you do not pay upon
checkout your card will automatically be charged and a receipt will be emailed to you.
You agree that rental boats/crafts must be refueled at Indian Creek Dock. A $25 fuel
surcharge will be added for refueling elsewhere.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please email us at [email protected] if you need to cancel or change you
reservation.
You agree you may cancel up to 48 hours before your reservation and receive a full
refund. You agree cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours of your reservation will incur
a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations done in 24 hours or less of your reservation
will result in no refund. You agree that if you do not show up you will be charged the full
rate of the rental.
Cancelling due to weather: A 100% rainy day/washout day with a hard rain consistently
throughout the day or a storm on the reservation day will be permitted to cancel for a
refund or rescheduled for a different day. **Light rain or cloudy days are not canceled.
Weather related cancellations will be at sole discretion of Indian Creek Dock staff. You

agree that if the rental time is cut short due to weather, the rental will be prorated based
on time available.

CHECK-IN and OPERATION
You agree to check in 30 mins before your reserved start time. You agree that your paid
reservation time slot begins at the time you reserved. Not the time you arrive. There is
no grace period.
You agree our pontoon boats have a 10 person max limit and/or 1,500 lb max limit. You
agree not to exceed these limits. 
Rental boats may not be beached under any circumstances. Renters wishing to tie the
boat up, or pick up/ drop off passengers must use a dock.
Anchors are not provided on Indian Creek Docks rental boats. Renters may not bring their own tube,
our boats do not allow for tubing or pulling of any kind.
There are several laws that must be obeyed while on the water. Indian Creek Dock Staff
will do its best to cover these in the renter’s orientation and videos. You agree to be
ultimately responsible.
You agree to abide by “No Wake” areas, turning off power to boat when near swimmers
and not be under the influence while operating the boat.
You agree to not remove the leased equipment from the territorial confines of Douglas
Lake.

RETURNING AND CHECKOUT
You agree to be back to the dock by your schedule return time. You agree that you are
subject to a $1.00 charge for every minute you are late returning. There is no grace
period. To avoid this, call us to stay on the lake longer and we are happy to work with
you if no one else is waiting for the craft. You agree any late fee will be paid at checkout.
You agree there is no credit for returning the boat early.
You agree to return the boat in the same condition as it was rented. Any damage
to the boat, motor, equipment, etc will be charged to your card.
